Letter to Loreburn’s Customers from Lorraine Usher, Chief Executive

After eight years at Loreburn I have decided that the time is right for me to step down from my role as Chief Executive.

In 2022 Loreburn celebrated its 40th anniversary and it was an honour for me to mark this with some of our longest-standing residents who have been loyal customers for almost all of that time. Towards the end of the year Loreburn also formed a new Management Committee, attracting members with an impressive range of skills and experience to lead the organisation. With that new Committee in place and about to begin the planning process to shape the next Strategic Plan, which will guide the organisation through the next chapter in Loreburn’s history, it feels like the time is right for me to now pursue some long-held personal ambitions.

I will be sad to leave what I believe is a fantastic organisation, with great people who share my passion and commitment to doing a great job. I feel both proud and privileged to have been able to make a difference and contribute to Loreburn’s mission to create great places to live.

I’ve no doubt the Management Committee will appoint an excellent replacement who will share my pride and commitment to Loreburn and most importantly, its customers.

I leave in April and until then look forward to continuing to serve you all.

Best wishes for the future,

Lorraine Usher
