We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded Highly Commended at the Scotland Energy Efficiency Awards 2024. This recognition comes from our retrofit initiative at Smith Way, Beattock, and we were nominated by our contractor Procast Group.
The project goes beyond upgrading homes; it's part of developing our own 'Loreburn Standard', which will guide our future investments and wider retrofit projects.
Initial findings from the Smith Way Retrofit Project have been positive, but we recognise that developing our Lorebrun Standard will require ongoing evaluation.
We're currently looking at where savings can be made. By refining procurement strategies and testing new materials, we are exploring the best ways to get the most out of each retrofit investment.
The recognition from this award highlights our commitment to improving our housing stock and helping to shape the future of social housing.
