As an organisation, we are continually monitoring the impact of the pandemic to help us ensure the safety of our staff, customers and contractors.
In the run up to Christmas, everyone is being asked to reduce contact with other households as much as possible; ideally limiting social contact to three different households.
Following this advice, we have agreed to action the following:
- All Later Living communal lounges will close. Our Later Living staff will be on-site to provide support in the morning and continue to work from home in the afternoon.
- Neighbourhood Officers will stop all non-essential face-to-face contact. This does not include unplanned contact during EMI's or other site visits.
- From December 23 2021, the Repairs team will restrict their work to emergency repairs only. Our Repairs team will carry out any reactive or external repairs that they have already committed to in the run-up to Christmas. Any other reactive repairs will be undertaken in the new year.
- We will be introducing daily lateral flow testing for our staff in Repairs and Later Living.
Your safety is our top priority and we will be continuing to provide updates through our social media channels, website noticeboard and via text message as and when further guidance is released.
If you have any questions on how the latest announcement impacts our services, please don't hesitate to get in touch. For further information on the Coronavirus pandemic, visit the Scottish Government website.
