Alan joined the Management Committee in early 2023 and is a resident of Dumfries. He is MCIPS qualified commercial professional with over 15 years’ experience leading major public sector procurement activities across social housing, major infrastructure programmes and UK defence.
Alan brings 20 years of social housing experience to his role with the Management Committee, having started his career as a graduate trainee in Housing Management in the early 2000s. He has knowledge and expertise across asset management, maintenance and property development. He has held previous committee positions at Cumbria Housing Partners and as a school governor.
Alan is committed to using his skills to help Loreburn deliver a strong value for money service for tenants whilst helping grow the local economy.
