We will shortly be commencing our energy performance certificate (EPC) programme, via consultancy company M-Four, which will involve around 300 homes across the region.
EPCs tell you how energy efficient a building is and give it a rating from A (very efficient) to G (inefficient). EPCs lets us know how costly it will be to heat and light the property, and what its carbon dioxide emissions are likely to be.
During this survey, the EPC assessor will take a series of photographs and measurements of both the inside and outside of your home. It is a legal requirement for us to have a valid EPC in place for all our properties and it will also help us to plan future energy efficiency investment works.
You should receive a letter in advance of your appointment and remember that contractors will always carry ID with them. If you're ever unsure, please contact us on 01387321300.
