Head of Repairs & Maintenance

Employment Type:

Full time, permanent

Location:

Dumfries & Galloway (Primarily home based with frequent regional travel).

Salary range:

£57,827 - £62,049 + competitive benefits package and on call payment

Hours:

35 hours each week, with a general working pattern of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The Role

Due to our current Head of Repairs & Maintenance planning to leave the business, we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced repairs professional to join Loreburn. This is a key leadership role with real scope to shape positive and constructive change across our Repairs team, improving service delivery, exploring modern technology to strengthening performance and enhancing the experience of our tenants. Responsible for a strong repairs service comprising 38FTE made up of skilled operatives, team managers, apprentices and scheduling and data staff dispersed across the D&G region.

QS Electrician Multi-Skilled

Location:

Dumfries & Galloway (East Area) with agile with travel across the region

Salary range:

£38,950 – £42,400 FTE (£22.03 - £23.98) + competitive benefits package

Additional payments for on call (£180.25 per week) + call out paid at 1.5 x hourly rate.

Hours:

34 hour week, worked over 4 days between 8am and 5pm and enjoy a rota that allows long weekend downtime every 5 weeks.

The Role

You’ll be joining a team of Skilled operatives working both independently and as part of a team carrying out reactive and void works,DEICR, smoke alarm and emergency lighting program of works as well as other multi-skilled duties which include, basic joinery, minor plastering repairs, decoration etc.

As a QS Electrician you will also be responsible for signing off test sheets for other electricians.

This post will be based in the East team covering DG1,2,3,4,7,10,11,12,13,14,16 and a full clean valid driving licence is required.
