Fit for Life > All-rounders
All-rounders
Have a little more time to spare? You'd make a GREAT all-rounder.
Whether it's running an activities session or pushing wheelchairs on a day trip, our all-rounder volunteers need to be willing to get stuck in.
From helping to host a coffee morning to something a little more energetic, you'll be playing a key role in creating better communities and helping to enrich the lives of our later living customers.
Activities can vary from boules and skittles, dancing or singing, or coming up with your own to get people moving. All the while, you'll be helping our customers to feel welcome and ensuring that everyone can take part.
How does it work?
We can guarantee that no two days will be the same!
Due to the diversity of the role, we can promise you that no two days volunteering with us will be alike. You'll be assisting across all areas of our Later Living service and you'll provide a friendly and familiar face for our customers. All we ask is that you bring a positive mindset, plenty of enthusiasm and never turn down the chance to have a chat!
Our all-rounder volunteer role offers you the opportunity to give something back to the community and to be part of a fantastic group of people providing support, skills, knowledge, friendship and being part of something special.
This is a fun and rewarding role which will enable you to connect with our customers and make a real, lasting difference to their lives.
What skills do I need?
We're looking for some GREAT volunteers who...
-
Have good people skills
-
Are patient, empathetic and understanding of the needs of our customers
-
Are reliable and enthusiastic
-
Have the ability to run a session and support others
-
Can work well as a part of a team

Whether you're shopping for a special birthday cake or visiting the local bakery, this social and active volunteering role will help keep you fit walking up and down the town.
