You could be eligible for a £200.00 GREAT Goodbye payment at the end of your tenancy if you have given access for a pre-termination visit and the following applies:
28 days clear notice
Rent paid in full up to termination date
Return a full set of keys and access fobs
Provide a forwarding address
Allow viewings to be carried out if requested to do so
Leave a wheelie bin and any council provided recycling boxes
Provide information on suppliers, final meter readings and close account, leave pre-paid meters in credit (not emergency credit)
Clear the property of all furniture, white goods, non-standard items, personal belongings and refuse - including from the loft, and any floor coverings
Tidy and clear garden of all belongings, cut grass, trim hedges, remove all dog waste and refuse
Clean the property to a good standard, including the kitchen and bathroom and remove all refuse
Carry out any repairs that are tenant responsibilities raised at pre- termination, and/or made repayment arrangements for recharges
Leave the property in a good condition and good state of decoration- any holes in walls should be filled and painted.
Ensure any unauthorised alterations are returned to their previous condition
