Supported Housing & Later Living Accommodation
Loreburn provide accommodation with support to young people or those needing support to live independently. We also offer an enhanced housing management service in our 'Later Living' developments for those aged 55 and over.
Our supported and enhanced housing management accommodation falls under three main categories;
Later Living Developments are situated in Annan, Dumfries, Wigtown, Castle Douglas and Stranraer. These include 1 and 2 bedroom properties that are safe, secure and easy to manage for customer's aged 55 and over. Our Later Living developments allow independence, secure door entry, emergency alarm equipment and staff on site during office hours at most developments. Follow the link above for more details and to view our information brochure.
Our Young People’s Service is located in Dumfries. It provides accommodation for young people aged between 16 and 25 who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. Our Advisors offer guidance and support in developing confidence and enhancing valuable life skills. All our highly skilled and proactive support staff are registered and reviewed by the Care Inspectorate and offer person centred support, tailored to the needs of each individual.
Supported Living Tenancies are available in a number of properties across Dumfries & Galloway and offer accommodation with care and support. They are designed to provide up to 24 hour care and support and generally have a staff base on site. Staffing is not provided by Loreburn but by a separate organisation commissioned by the Health & Social Care Partnership. Unlike other tenancy types, Supported Living Tenancies are not processed or allocated through Loreburn Lettings and are instead, allocated with the involvement of local social work teams.
