Alison Coupe

My paid working life includes employment in social housing, the NHS, enterprise, organisational development and training. As the Community Investment Director of a housing association I gained experience, at a senior level, of strategy development, business planning, partnership creation and staff development.

In my retirement I have enjoyed working with our local school, learning about and understanding the importance of the environment to our wellbeing and studying at Newton Rigg Agricultural College and the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh. I really enjoy learning new things and new ways of doing them.

I am committed to creating affordable, environmentally friendly and attractive places to live. I hope that my skills, experience and enthusiasm will contribute to Loreburn Housing Association achieving its ambition of ‘creating great places to live’.
