Our Development Program

At Loreburn Housing Association, our vision is to create GREAT places to live, providing new energy efficient homes for our customers.

Our Development Team are working with the Scottish Government to help meet their targets of 50,000 new homes by 2021 and we have committed to delivering 350 new homes over the next 3 years in order to help the Scottish Government meet their target. To finance this new development programme Loreburn Housing Association receive Government funding through the Council’s Strategic Housing Investment Plan and we have also secured private finance to help back our extensive programme.

This is a very exciting time for the Development Team as we have identified a need for a variety of different housing provisions region wide. Along side our great quality of general purpose family homes, we are looking in to developing Extra Care developments, Dementia friendly properties and Dementia communities. Just recently we have received planning permission for the first Foyer in Dumfries and Galloway. Our first major achievement in our new development programme going forward.
